What does a quality consulting engagement actually deliver?

A quality consulting engagement delivers assets that stay with you: a written assessment, a test strategy, automated suites in your repository and documentation in your format.

Fixed price or time and materials: how can you work with ADC?

An engagement is contracted either at a fixed price or on a time-and-materials basis, depending on whether you need a one-off deliverable or ongoing support.

  • Audit & diagnostic: a one-off, fixed-price engagement delivered in 5 working days for €1,000 excl. VAT.
  • Embedded QA execution: hands-on testing inside your sprints, on a time-and-materials basis at €300 excl. VAT per day.
  • QA recruitment & staffing: sourcing and technical assessment of testers, SDETs or QA leads for your team, 12% of first-year base salary (excl. VAT), invoiced on start date, 90-day replacement search included.
  • Ongoing advisory: test organisation, quality governance and upskilling of your existing team.
  • Consulting + training: build the practice with us, then train your team to keep it running.

How much does a consulting engagement cost?

A QA audit & diagnostic costs €1,000 excl. VAT at a fixed price, test industrialisation starts at €4,500 excl. VAT, embedded QA execution is billed €300 excl. VAT per day, and the career consulting pack costs €145 incl. VAT. The first scoping session is free.

Ongoing advisory and the consulting + training package are costed in the action plan that comes out of the diagnostic: you know the cost before you sign.

What happens after the engagement?

After the engagement, you keep everything that was produced: frameworks, scripts and documentation stay in your repository, with no vendor lock-in.

The same consultants stay on your project, and several are also our instructors: the consulting + training option then lets your team keep the practice running. For individuals, our QA Automation & AI Tester program also ends with a one-to-one review covering your GitHub portfolio, CV, LinkedIn profile and interview preparation.

Is the first meeting paid?

No. Every engagement starts with a free first call, and the first scoping session is free. After that, prices are public: QA audit & diagnostic €1,000 excl. VAT, test industrialisation from €4,500 excl. VAT, embedded QA execution €300 excl. VAT per day, career consulting pack €145 incl. VAT.

How long does a QA audit take?

A QA audit & diagnostic is delivered in 5 working days at a fixed price of €1,000 excl. VAT: it delivers a written assessment, a test strategy and a costed action plan. The test industrialisation that can follow takes about 15 days.

Do we own the scripts and frameworks?

Yes. Frameworks, scripts and documentation stay in your repository, in your format: there is no vendor lock-in when the engagement ends.

Which testing tools do you use?

We work inside your existing tools. For automation we use Playwright, Selenium and Appium among others, integrated into your CI/CD pipeline; for accessibility, the WCAG standards.

Does career coaching replace a training course?

No. Career coaching starts from your profile and prepares you all the way to the interview; the upskilling plan identifies the building blocks you lack and builds a concrete learning path, which can include an ADC course.
