Frequently asked questions about software tester training

An advisor can also help you take stock of your project.

Let’s talk about your project
What salary after software tester training?

In France, a junior software tester most often earns between €25,000 and €28,000 gross per year (source: HelloWork, 2026). Test and QA job ads that show a salary have a median of €42,500 gross across all levels, and €50,000 for senior or lead roles (ADC barometer, October 2026). Breakdown by level: QA automation tester salary (FR).

Do I already need to know how to code?

No. The path starts with the basics of testing, then of development. Computer literacy, fluent French and the ability to read technical English are required. Allow for a computer with 8 GB of RAM minimum and a stable connection.

Can I keep my job during the training?

The personal format includes 160 h of live classes: 19:30–21:30 (Paris time) Monday to Friday for Europe, and Quebec time for the Quebec group. Outside classes, access to the trainer is unlimited. The remaining 239 h are done on your own. Allow personal study time in addition to classes. See the details of the evening-class format (FR).

What is the difference between the two prices?

The programme, certifications, project and follow-up are the same. At €1,500 you get 160 h of live teaching; at €7,500 incl. VAT, all 399 h are delivered live. The number of hours with the trainer explains the difference.

Can the CPF or an OPCO fund my training?

Not yet: an OPCO (French sector training-funding body) only funds Qualiopi-certified providers, and ADC’s certification is in progress; the CPF and France Travail are not yet available either. Your company can, however, fund the training directly from its training budget. All payment methods are on the Funding.

What happens if I do not validate a block?

A remediation path helps you consolidate what you have learned before entering the next block. Each new step builds on a validated foundation.

If I miss a session, can I watch it again?

Video replays of the sessions are available for 24 months. The learning platform remains accessible 24/7 for 6 months.

Which jobs can I aim for after the programme?

QA tester, junior test automation engineer, QA Automation Engineer or test analyst. Your portfolio presents your Playwright tests, your CI/CD pipeline and your quality report.

Does the support stop after the defence?

No. The path includes a review 3 months after the initial interview, 3 sessions with recruitment and technical experts, and support in your job search.
