QA outsourcing: add testing capacity without hiring

QA outsourcing means handing part of your testing to an external team. With AutomationDataCamp, testers work inside your sprints, with your tools, for €300 excl. VAT per day, 100% remotely, in English or French. Test cases, scripts and reports stay yours.

What is QA outsourcing?

QA outsourcing (or outsourced software testing) is the use of an external team to plan, run and maintain tests on your product. It can cover manual and exploratory testing, regression campaigns before each release, test automation and the maintenance of existing suites. The aim is to add testing capacity quickly, without a recruitment process, and to keep quality from slowing your releases.

What can you outsource to us?

In-house, outsourced or hybrid QA?

  • In-house QA suits teams that need a full-time tester for the long term and can run a hiring process. We can help with that through QA recruitment (12% of first-year base salary, invoiced on start date).
  • Outsourced QA suits teams that need capacity now, for a release, a backlog of regressions or a new product, and want to pay only for the days used.
  • Hybrid QA is common: an external team builds and runs the automation while your developers own unit tests and your product team owns acceptance.

How much does QA outsourcing cost?

Embedded QA is billed at €300 excl. VAT per day. When a test framework has to be built first, QA industrialisation starts at €4,500 excl. VAT fixed price, with scope, timeline and final price set after the audit. Most engagements start with a QA audit: €1,000 excl. VAT, delivered in 5 working days.

How does an outsourced QA engagement work?

  1. Scoping call (30 minutes): your product, your release pain points, your stack and your tools.
  2. QA audit (optional but recommended): risk and coverage map, target strategy and costed action plan.
  3. Onboarding: access to your tools, working hours and communication channels agreed with you.
  4. Testing inside your sprints, with reports in your format and the test code in your repository.

Who does the testing?

The AutomationDataCamp team, led by Oussama Belakhdar, QA architect and founder. We have tested software in healthcare, finance, e-invoicing, blockchain, logistics, e-commerce and document management. Two engagements show the kind of results possible: a regression campaign cut from 10 days to 2 hours and a PDF specification turned into a first Playwright test base in one day. Results depend on context.

Frequently asked questions

How much does QA outsourcing cost?

Embedded QA is billed at €300 excl. VAT per day. If you need a framework built first, QA industrialisation starts at €4,500 excl. VAT fixed price, after a €1,000 QA audit.

Is outsourced QA cheaper than hiring a QA engineer?

It depends on how much testing you need. Outsourcing is billed only for the days you use and starts without a recruitment process; hiring makes sense when you need a full-time tester for the long term, and we also recruit QA engineers for 12% of first-year base salary.

Do you work in our time zone?

Engagements are 100% remote for teams in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, the Gulf states and the Nordics. Working hours and communication channels are agreed with you before the start.

Who owns the test cases and test code?

You do. Test cases, scripts, reports and documentation are delivered in your tools and your repository.

How do we start?

With a 30-minute call, then usually a QA audit (5 working days, €1,000 excl. VAT) to decide what the embedded team should test first.
